Whether you have special needs, an overly sensitive gag reflex or are extremely anxious in the dental chair, our sedation services may be your ticket to a more pleasant and productive dental appointment. Don’t allow your physical limitations prevent you from seeking the care you need to maintain a healthy smile.

Orthodontic and Esthetic Dentistry
What does your smile say about you? Let us help you put your best face forward with convenient orthodontic options, whitening or sparkling veneers.

Our doctors are certified in Fast Braces and Invisalign Orthodontics. We also offer in-office and custom tray whitening.

Prevention and Maintenance
We take prevention seriously at Everett Springs Dental Care and we take the time to educate our patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy smile. From periodic exams, functional analysis of your bite, cleanings and oral hygiene instruction – our goal is to help you prevent disease and slow down the progression of wear-and-tear that occurs on a daily basis.

Periodontal Therapy
The bone and gums in your mouth are a vital factor in the overall health of your oral cavity. These hard and soft tissue structures support the teeth and are at risk of being destroyed by bacterial infection, pathology, systemic disease and destructive forces. Without a healthy foundation, your teeth are at risk of being lost – thus it is important to diagnose and effectively treat periodontal disease.

Restoration and Prosthodontics Whether you are missing teeth or are affected by tooth decay, we provide you with a number of options to restore your dentition to a healthy and functional state. In addition to tooth-colored fillings, traditional crown and bridges, removable dentures, and implant supported restorations, we are excited offer CEREC crowns that are milled in-office while you wait!

Thomas Montenero, DMD

Lead Dentist

Dr. Montenero is a local product, having been raised right here in Everett. A graduate of Malden Catholic High School, and a Cum laude graduate of Boston College, Dr. Montenero began his career, after graduating from Tufts Dental School, under the guidance and tutelage of his boyhood dentist Dr. Ezio Tesone. Dr Tesone was a willing and masterful mentor of their shared profession, a man he will never forget, and always try to emulate. Chief among his many lessons was that his Diploma was merely a license to begin learning the intricacies of the Dental Profession, and over his 30+ years of practice, Dr. Montenero has amassed thousands of hours of Continuing Dental Education. “I like to stay sharp, stay ahead of the curve, so to speak. Continued Learning is what keeps the fun in Dentistry for me, and it is my intention to continue practicing for as long as I’m having fun at it.” As someone once said, “A Professional has no right to be other than a perpetual student.” Make no mistake, though; while Dr. Montenero never takes himself too seriously, he is quite serious about his work. “Having fun doing serious work” would seem to be the words he lives by.

But he’s so much more than just a dentist: a dedicated husband to Daryl, his wife of 36 years, a devoted father to their two, now adult children, Tom Jr. and Diana, a true friend and confidant who will one day take may a trusted secret to his grave, and perhaps the single worst golfer to ever have picked up a club. “Every time I play, I hit enough decent shots to keeps me coming back; half a dozen good shots out of 70 or 75 (Really, Doc?…for nine holes?) That is what keeps me in the office and off the PGA Tour. I always have maintained that if I could drive consistently, get control of my irons, and learn how to putt, I could be pretty good at this game!”

Be that as it may, Dr. Montenero, has, over the years become a pioneer in the field of Oral Conscious Sedation, a master of cosmetic dental makeovers, and an unrelenting student of the bit and bite-related disorders and their treatment, all in addition to the standard array of General Dental procedures. In short, he loves practicing his profession, one that requires the commitment of his hands, his head, and his heart. Xaverian tradition holds that “He who works with his hands is a laborer; he who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman: but he who works with his hands, and his head, and his heart is an artist.” He would never speak of himself in such terms, but we do!
